Liquiflex-POE
Freelin-Wade’s new tube might seem familiar. After all, it’s chemical resistant like polyethylene and flexible like polyurethane. What will surprise you is that you get both qualities in the same tube.
The new tubing is Liquiflex-POE™. The tubing is made from a Polyolefin Elastomer (POE) resin. It comes from the same family of polymers as polyethylene and polypropylene. Like these other olefins, it resists solvents and is chemically inert. Unlike those resins though, it’s an elastomer so you know that it’s highly elastic. If you bend it, kink it or crush it, Liquiflex-POE will spring back to its original shape.
Polyethylene’s durability and low cost have made it a popular choice for many tubing applications. Freelin-Wade’s Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE) flexes but that’s nothing like what our new Liquiflex can do. Variation options for Liquiflex includes coiling (it makes an excellent coil) and may be bonded to form multi-tube bundles.
Liquiflex is ideal for low-pressure applications, particularly in room-temperature environments. You’ll love it for fluid handling, in applications where you need flexibility and FDA compliance. Download our Liquiflex flyer by clicking here.
